I’ve worked with Jack for many years during our time at Cablevision and on many technical, as well as operational initiatives. The rate of change in the industry during those years required the ability to understand, master and adopt new technologies and enhanced abilities in an extremely timely and efficient manner.
Therein lies Jack’s major strengths and abilities; he was always able to identify and explain, as well as characterize, the benefits—and occasionally the less than ideal aspects—of the new technologies and methods. That takes a sharp mind, a willingness to study and learn the ins and outs of the latest tech along with the ability to document and explain his findings and results of testing to others in the organization.
An excellent thinker, technician and engineer, and perhaps most importantly, an also excellent team player.

Jack is perhaps the most highly skilled and experienced telecom engineer I’ve had the pleasure of working with in my career in cable. He has wide ranging knowledge in fiber architecture, last mile data delivery networks, voice architecture, and overall system architecture. I’ve found him to be a results oriented, business focused engineer who, quite simply, always got the job done, on time, and on budget. On any team he participates in, he would be regarded as the “go to” guy. Jack acted as the principal engineer for our initial fiber/node deployment in the NY area and also provided vital engineering support for the successful launches of our Optimum Voice and Optimum On Line hardware systems. Definitely a dedicated member of our team while we worked together.
